Dr. Edmund joined Eye Care Associates in October of 2020. Originally from Long Island, she attended Cortland State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and a minor in biology. While at Cortland, she was a competitive student athlete for the track and field team. She went on to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry graduating cum laude. Upon graduation, Dr. Edmund completed an ocular disease and low vision residency at the West Haven VA. Her clinical training includes diagnosis and management of ocular disease, pediatric and binocular vision exams, low vision as well as comprehensive primary eye care and contact lenses. She completed her clinical training at numerous hospitals including Northport VA, West Haven VA, The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, and facilities including Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut in Fairfield, and Broward Eye Care in Ft Lauderdale. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Edmund is dedicated to life-long learning to provide the best possible care for her patients. She enjoys getting to know her patients, ensuring her patients leave with a full understanding of their eyes, including overall health and vision correction. Away from the office, Dr. Edmund enjoys spending time with friends and family and staying active at the gym.
